Situated near to the church and opposite the Primary School is the Parish Rooms building. Although used daily by the Collaton St Mary Preschool, the Parish Rooms building is owned and managed by the Parish Rooms Committee which comprises people from the local community.

The Parish Rooms are available for hire for a variety of functions, the hall is a good size for Childrens Parties, Wedding Receptions, Christening Receptions, Quiz Nights, Fund Raising Events, AGM's and general meetings.

Booking well in advance is advisable to avoid disappointment.

Hiring

Collaton St Mary Parish Rooms are an ideal venue for meetings, training courses, classes, parties and other events.

The building is situated in a rural setting close to the Totnes Road (A385), just 2 miles from Paignton and 4 miles from Totnes (see this location map). There is some limited parking on site, but parking is available on Blagdon Lane and Totnes Road.

There are presently two rooms, available in the evenings and weekends, of differing size to meet most needs. The ground floor room, which has level access and toilet facilities, will accommodate up to 30 people. The Main Hall, upstairs, has a stage and can accommodate up to 100.

Limited kitchen facilities are available on the ground floor, while upstairs there is a kitchen adjacent to the Main Hall.
