Located on the main road between Paignton and Totnes, Collaton St Mary has a long history and boasts a fine church, built in the 1860s.

Amateur Dog Racing at Collaton St MaryA few popular events are organised regularly and these are listed in the events calendar. One of the more well-known events is the entertaining annual Amateur Dog Racing.

Collaton St Mary Parish Rooms

 

Adjacent to the church is the Parish Rooms building, shared by the community and forming a permanent home for Collaton St Mary Community Playgroup.

The building is available for hire for a variety of different kinds of event.

Collaton's original school building

 

The original school building has now been converted to a domestic dwelling, with a new school building now located on the former school field. 

Collaton St Mary Primary School has a new website.

Parker's Arms, Collaton St Mary

 

The village still a local pub, the Parker's Arms, but sadly the village Post Office has now closed.
