Collaton St Mary

Collaton St Mary village lies a couple of miles West of Paignton, Devon, in the South-West of England. You can find it through Multimap®, where you can also see an aerial photo.

Located on the main road between Paignton and Totnes, Collaton St Mary has a long history and boasts a fine church, built in the 1860s.

A few popular events are organised regularly and these are listed in the events calendar. One of the more well-known events is the entertaining annual Amateur Dog Racing.

Adjacent to the church is the Parish Rooms building, shared by the community and forming a permanent home for Collaton St Mary Community Playgroup.

The building is available for hire for a variety of different kinds of event.

The original school building has now been converted to a domestic dwelling, with a new school building now located on the former school field. 

Collaton St Mary Primary School has a new website.

The village still boasts a Post Office and a pub, the Parker's Arms.
